Castello di Falconara

by sicily

Falconara Castle is a historic 14th century residence, the only one of the manors in the province of Caltanissetta to overlook the sea.

The fortress is characterized by the large central tower, called “della Falconara” because it was initially built for the breeding of hunting falcons.

The enchanting structure of Castello di Falconara is an ideal place to spend dream holidays or celebrate weddings and other private receptions in one of the most exclusive places in Sicily.

Outside, Falconara Castle is surrounded by a lush park designed in 1893 by the architect Ernesto Basile who also remodeled the entrance to the Castle courtyard.
