Palazzo Drago Airoldi in Santa Colomba is one of the most interesting Sicilian historic residences in the Cassaro, the current Via Vittorio Emanuele, in the historic center of Palermo.
The building, in Arab-Roman style, is located at the corner of the alley of San Giuseppe D’Arimatea, in the district of the Royal Palace.
The exact date of construction of the building is not known, nor the name of the author or of the client’s family: the area it occupies has in fact been the subject of countless constructions that have continued since the Phoenician era.
It belonged to the Drago who gave it this conformation and then to the Ajroldi marquises of Santa Colomba who had it restored and modernized in 1872 by the architect Giovan Battista Basile.
